"A new study out of Italy found that a Laparoscopic Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy, or HIPEC, may be successful in treating patients with malignant peritoneal mesothelioma, a form of asbestos-caused cancer that manifests within the peritoneum, or lining of the abdomen.
