Oak Ridge Nat’l Lab set for environmental cleanup

"The Dept of Energy has given its okay to the monumental environmental cleanup that is needed at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, about 20 miles west of Knoxville, Tennessee. The national science laboratory and nuclear weapons plant is contaminated with everything from asbestos to radioactive waste. More than 400 buildings will be demolished. " (2008-12-8)
