Asbestos Tests Negative at Patchogue-Medford Schools

"The Patchogue-Medford school district asbestos crisis seems to be over. The district superintendent announced yesterday that air-quality tests conducted at both Eagle Elementary and Oregon Middle schools showed that the air was safe for students. Asbestos, a toxic material, is linked to medical conditions ranging from asbestosis to lung cancer to mesothelioma.
