Union leader James Middleton, who revealed mesothelioma risk at Johns-Manville plant, dead at 72

"James Middleton has died at 72 after a long lung illness. The former union leader was instrumental in revealing the danger of asbestos and chemical exposures at the Waukegan, Illinois Johns-Manville plant. He was the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Waukegan Local 60’s business manager from 1968 to 1993.
